Jacques Gilbert

Jacques Gilbert held senior executive positions at Fortune 500 companies, medium size enterprises, and startups. Jacques has extensive experience developing and deploying large-scale transaction processing technologies for the financial services industry.

Most recently, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Architect at First Data Corporation and Western Union. Before joining First Data, Mr. Gilbert co-founded and managed Research and Development Internet Systems Corp, developing the premier transaction processing software for commercial and international financial institutions, currently used by major global banks around the world.

He is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris (France), from which he received Masters in Engineering and Business Administration

David Li

David is a serial entrepreneur with deep payments expertise. He was the Sr. Director of Product Management at PayPal, where he was responsible for team product strategy, planning, budget, roadmap, and execution. David successfully managed various Product teams during his 5+ years tenure, including Global Risk & Operations, eBay Team, & Merchant Services team. David managed the Global Risk & Operations team, which was responsible for products enabling PayPal's industry leading fraud/risk management and financial & customer service operations. Under his leadership, the merchant services revenue grew 110% YOY to $50MM, while on-eBay revenue grew 150% in two years to ~$300MM.

David is an MBA graduate from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Stanford University

Antonio Pecora

Antonio is an expert within the Information Security space, most recently acting in Deloitte as Technology Partner. Under his leadership, he developed the security and auditing practice carrying out services such as Trust Services and 3rd Party Audits (SAS70), Public Key Infrastructure or policies development and implementation. Antonio has a broad range of experience in the following sectors: Consumer products, Telecommunication, and Banking. He has over ten years of experience in establishing and maintaining frameworks to provide assurance that information security strategies are aligned with business objectives and consistent with applicable laws and regulations.

Ronald D. Martin

Ronald Martin brings a successful career serving as a strategic advisor to restructure corporations, turnaround underperforming entities, and develop new business to facilitate organizational effectiveness and growth. With extensive knowledge of online payments and customer relationship management (CRM) software, Martin served at the helm of Neovia Financial PLC, the leading global independent online payments company with operations in more than 160 countries. While at Neovia, Martin was instrumental in establishing and nurturing investor and broker relationships with institutional investors throughout Europe and North America. Owing to his efforts, revenues grew by 200% from 2004-2006 with sales of $257 million. Equally noteworthy, he expanded the company’s presence to the Hong Kong market, which realized a 50% annual growth rate. Through Martin’s exceptional business and financial acumen, the company captured and maintained a leading market share position.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, from McMaster University. He is actively involved in his industry, including serving as a member of the Neovia Financial PLC Board of Directors. He is certified as an Approved Person with the UK Financial Services Authority.

Brad Williams

Brad Williams is the founder and CEO of Travergence Interactive Inc., a global activity-booking company based in Victoria. He also serves on the board for The Victoria Advanced Technology Council (VIATeC), is the CFO for iDUS Controls and is an accredited lead mentor with the British Columbia Innovation Council.

His wide-ranging career has seen him hold the senior finance role at six different tech and financial service companies over the past 10 years. From go-public transactions to company acquisitions to major financial restructuring, he's overseen a diverse array of financial processes at companies ranging from pre-revenue enterprises to rapidly growing ventures.

As the finance head of one of the largest non-bank FX payment processors, he was responsible for the finance and diligence processes of a $25M private equity investment and $370M exit transaction. Subsequent to the completion of the exit transaction, Brad was VP of Global Business Expansion and was responsible for an aggressive 24-month growth strategy, responsible for developing and implementing plans to triple regional coverage and revenues.

Brad holds a BComm (hons.) from University of Victoria and is a Chartered Accountant.
